Services
Care that's specific to you.
We offer evidence-based therapy and clinical services for individuals, couples, and families — in person in Ellicott City and via secure telehealth across Maryland.
01 · Individual
Individual therapy for adults
One-on-one talk therapy for adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, identity, work stress, grief, and relationship challenges. Sessions are 45 or 60 minutes and typically meet weekly to start.
What to expect
- An initial intake to understand your history and what you're hoping for
- A collaborative care plan with measurable goals you can revisit
- Evidence-based modalities — CBT, ACT, IFS, EMDR, psychodynamic — adapted to fit you
Who it's for
- Adults 18+ seeking ongoing support or short-term work on a specific concern
- Anyone who wants a confidential, non-judgmental space to think clearly
02 · Youth
Child & adolescent therapy
Developmentally tuned therapy for kids (ages 6+) and teens. We work with anxiety, ADHD, mood changes, school stress, social difficulty, identity exploration, and the everyday hard parts of growing up. Parents are partners in the work.
What to expect
- Brief parent consultation, then 1–2 sessions to get to know your child
- A blend of talk, play, art, and skills-based work appropriate to age
- Regular family check-ins so parents are informed without breaking the child's privacy
Who it's for
- Children and adolescents whose worry, sadness, anger, or behavior is getting in the way
- Families looking for a steady professional in their child's corner
03 · Relationships
Couples & family counseling
Relationship work for partners and families. We use evidence-based approaches (Gottman, EFT, family systems) to help couples and families communicate more clearly, repair after conflict, and find their way back to each other.
What to expect
- A joint intake, sometimes followed by short individual sessions
- Shared goals, practical tools, and structured conversations in session
- 60–80 minute sessions, typically weekly or every other week
Who it's for
- Partners working through conflict, distance, life transitions, or rebuilding trust
- Families navigating parenting, blended households, illness, or generational dynamics
04 · Psychiatric
Psychiatric evaluation & medication management
Psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management are offered through partner providers we work closely with. If medication is something you'd like to explore, we'll coordinate the referral and keep your therapist looped in throughout.
What to expect
- A comprehensive 60-minute psychiatric evaluation with one of our partner prescribers
- Ongoing 20–30 minute follow-ups to adjust care as needed
- Coordinated care between your prescriber and your therapist
Who it's for
- Anyone considering medication for anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, or related concerns
- Clients who want both therapy and medication on the same care team
05 · Group
Group therapy
Small, time-limited groups (6–8 people, 8–12 weeks) on focused topics. Group therapy offers something individual work can't: the experience of not being alone, and feedback from people walking a similar path. Cohorts vary by season.
Current & upcoming groups
- Anxiety skills group for adults
- Parenting through the teen years
- Grief & loss circle
- Women's processing group
Who it's for
- Anyone interested in lower-cost, focused work alongside others
- Clients already in individual therapy looking for a complementary experience
06 · Telehealth
Telehealth
Secure video sessions through a HIPAA-aligned platform. Telehealth makes care possible when life, distance, or weather get in the way — and it works well for most kinds of therapy. We see clients located anywhere in Maryland.
What to expect
- A private, encrypted video link sent before each session
- The same clinicians, same depth of work, no app to download
- Flexible scheduling, including some evening and weekend hours
Who it's for
- Clients across Maryland who prefer or need to meet remotely
- Busy adults, parents, students, and anyone juggling schedules
